Banana Republic Trench Coat

Posted in Uncategorized on September 14, 2008 by au13

So I went shopping today and blew off most of my budget on this trenchcoat. Ive been to several stores from AE to Gap to Express and I ended up in Banana Rep. Ive never owned anything from this brand and I needed a belt so I went in there and saw this trench coat. I have the one in charcoal – but what I love about it is the lining inside. Its color is bright purple! Its very comfy to wear and its quality is definitely worth the money. Oh and I also got a simple black belt for $38.

Betty Boop Lanyard

Ive always been a secret fan of Betty Boop. (Aint so secret anymore) But if im feeling cute, my favorite cartoon character is Betty Boop. Not too corny and childish, coz shes a bit on the sexy side. I love the red dress too and the tiny dog. So once in a while I couldnt help but buy the items I see with Betty Boop. And this lanyard is one of the biggest rip offs of the I (heart) NY Empire. But I still bought it, coz I liked it. It costs about $12.

Red Lined Rims

This is exactly want I want for my birthday. My husband still has no idea which brand but basically we are looking at about $600 each. Thats a total of less than $3000. I know its expensive and I know Ill only get it when someone buys it for me. (Like hell im spending that on my car hahaha) I basically like the red accent which is easily noticeable in an all black rims. Even if I love my car, I am still dying to change something in it. Or else it looks like every single GTI that came out of the dealer. I need to be unique, although not too unique because i have seen these rims a couple of times. A lot of people actually buy this because it matches perfectly the red accents in the front of the car.

Ped Egg

The Ped Egg. Its like a grating instrument for your callous feet. I must admit that the feet is the last thing I take care of (that is, if i get to it). So over time my feet has absorbed tons of abuse and have only been pampered once in my life (got a footspa in the Philippines). So, while watching TV I saw this Ped Egg, which I found amusing because the models did get a lot of dead skin cells and theyre feet looked really fresh after using using it. As if you got an instant footspa. Feet feels soft and callous-free. For years I have seen my auntie use nail files to sand down the callouses, but I think this gadget is very effective. It felt weird at first because you feel like your grating your feet and its a scary thought but once i got the hang of it, it became addicting. (Just dont overdo it, please).  Hey its only $10, and its very convenient to use. The thing i like about it is you dont scatter your skin cells all over the room. It gets collected inside the egg shaped grater and you can empty it out later when you done. I definitely recommend it. I cant wait to use it again 😛

Garnier Eye Depuffing Gel

Posted in Skincare on September 6, 2008 by au13

Haha! The idea of an eyebag roller seems a bit absurd. But I realized that the eye cream is for brightening purposes only for the dark circles. I needed help with depuffing the eyebags. I learned that at night the fluids are not circulating well and thus gets collected in the eyebags. So thats why when I cry all night, my eyes are all puffy and disgusting hahaha! So I saw this while shopping at Harmon and decided to give it a try. Apparently, the roll on applicator helps promote the microcirculation and cooling sensation of the eyes. It would literally awake you coz the metal roller is sooo cold when you put them in your eyebags. You can use this as much as you want. I bring it with me everywhere and I love it. Eyebags are natural part of our face so Im not expecting that it would disappear, but I do notice that my eyes feel better and does not look haggard and tired.

Betsey Johnson Aviator

I hope this fits me well. I have the greatest regret of not buying a white Prada aviator sunglasses and now its gone, I couldnt find it anywhere else. I know summer is over but I wear sunglasses all year round to avoid the sunglares when driving. And the aviator style is the one that I dont have yet. So Ive been looking around. Moreover, I saw a pink sunglasses from Versace. However it didnt fit me, But it cool to see that pink sunglasses looks really cool. It makes it very unique (a little girly too) compared to all the black and brown sunglasses out there. This one Im going to order online for my birthday! I dont think I can find them in stores. It costs $85, not bad.
